What we collect
- Account information: name, email, password (hashed), language preference.
- Order and payment information: amount, currency, billing country, transaction ID. Card details are processed by Stripe and Thinkific Payments — we never see or store the card number.
- Course progress: lessons viewed, completion status, quiz results.
- Communications: emails you send us, support tickets, comments.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, cookies (see below).
Why we collect it
- To create and run your account and deliver the course you purchased (contract).
- To process payments and meet tax/bookkeeping obligations (legal obligation).
- To send transactional emails (course access, receipts, password resets) and, with your consent, marketing emails.
- To improve the Academy and keep it secure (legitimate interest).
Processors we use
- Thinkific Labs Inc. — course platform hosting (Canada).
- Stripe / Thinkific Payments — payment processing.
- Email delivery — Thinkific's transactional email and (where applicable) Resend.
Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep your data
Account and progress data: for as long as your account exists, plus the period required by Swiss bookkeeping law for order records (typically 10 years for tax purposes). You can request deletion of account data at any time.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use marketing cookies on this Academy platform.
Your rights
Under the Swiss FADP and (where applicable) the EU GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email [email protected] to exercise these rights. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
